School Performance at IDEAS Academy in Sheboygan, WI
April 30th, 2015
We performed for high school students at I.D.E.A.S. Academy and introduced them to the Live Forever Project. We performed the first half of our main-stage show “Alice and Eugene: The Lucky Ones,” which uses songwriting, drama, poetry, dance, and visual art to express the experiences and memories of a local WWII veteran and his wife during WWII. The school invited us to perform as a professional model for students as they create their own projects at IDEAS. We discussed our mission to preserve and share important memories through artistic expression. The students were very engaged and asked thoughtful questions about our process and about how and why we made certain artistic choices.

Silver Lake College (School Performance)
We were invited into a humanities course at Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI to perform pieces from the Live Forever Project and discuss what we do. The college students then had a discussion about the significance of making sure that memories are preserved and the cultural implications if they are lost.
